Everyone here at Guard-One Protective Services would like to give a huge thank you to Officer Norman Raines for going above and beyond the call of duty while on post in Louisiana last week.
What started out as any normal day on post, changed drastically when he was approached by someone whose companion was in distress and potentially having a heart attack. Officer Raines stayed calm under pressure and let his training take the lead. First, he made sure 911 was contacted immediately and then, he proceeded to administer CPR to the ailing man for 20 minutes until the ambulance arrived on scene. The EMS team is noted saying that this man’s life was saved due the quick actions performed by Guard-One Security Officer Norman Raines. This level of cool headedness and value of life is what we strive to have in all of our guards. He is a testament to us all and we could not be prouder to call him a member of our team.
